PALESTINIAN DOCTOR VANISHES IDF SUSPECTED OF KIDNAPPING HIM
December 10, 2023Dr Mohammed Abu Salimah was a face we saw on our socials for many, many weeks saving lives at the Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza. He stayed until the Israeli military forced him to leave. Now he is missing. He was taken by the Israelis and has not been seen, heard from nor have the IDF confirmed they have him.
He would not leave his patients. He refused to abandon the sick, injured and dying and now we count him among the missing, presumed dead at the hands of the apartheid, extremist, brutal Israeli regime.

But over the past few years, Israel has increased the penalty to draconian heights. Now Palestinians face a minimum of three years, ten years for simply throwing a stone at a vehicle and up to 20 years if they’re charged with intent to harm with the stone. When the stricter punishment passed, Israeli Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked boasted “Tolerance towards terrorists ends today. A stone thrower is a terrorist and only a fitting punishment can serve as a deterrent and just punishment”. Then in 2015, an amendment was added that collectively punished the families of those prosecuted in Jerusalem. It gave the Israeli government the authority to cancel state health insurance and other social benefits for the parents of imprisoned minors. While many stone throwers go to prison, others suffer more serious repercussions.
