December 15, 2023Millennial protestors in Melbourne, Toronto, Tunis and Germany, among many others, swarmed to @ZARA stores this week after its new Ad campaign caused global outrage for its offensive depiction of massacres in Gaza.
Led by sharp-minded and ethical millennials, protestors returned items, demanded refunds and swarmed the store carrying babies shrouded in white sheets symbolising the thousands of babies murderdered by Isr@el in its latest genocidal bloodbath.
The issue does not only stem from this Ad campaign but with head women’s designer @Vanessaperilman who confronted Palestinian model Qaher Harhash via a direct message sent on Instagram in 2021, revealing her pro-zionist beleifs saying:
“Maybe if your people were educated then they wouldn’t blow up the hospitals and schools that Israel helped to pay for in Gaza,”
“Israelis don’t teach children to hate nor throw stones at soldiers as your people do.”
Zara also came under fire last year after the head of the company’s Israel arm hosted a campaign event for right-wing ultranationalist politician Itamar Ben-Gvir which led to some Arab Israelis burning Zara’s clothes and calling for a boycott.
