DAIZY AT THE HAGUE REPORTING ON ICJ HEARING
January 10, 2024Reporting LIVE from The Hague. I’ve just landed and am on the ground where tomorrow’s historic hearing between South Africa and Israel is set to unfold at the iconic Peace Palace where the International Court of Justice is located—right where I’m standing.
Tomorrow, the South African prosecution team will present the case for GENOCIDE against Israel, and on Friday, Israel will have the chance to present its defense. Although no photographic equipment is allowed inside, I’ll be armed with notes and a voice recorder to share WITH YOU the events from inside THE ROOM WHERE IT IS HAPPENING.
This is possibly the most important case the ICJ will ever confront in the history of humanity to date. I didn’t want to be an observer; I wanted to be a participant and witness for myself what happens.
So, turn on your notifications and tune in to my reports to get a realistic, unbiased, factual, and on-the-spot account of this critical moment in humanity’s history.
YOUR ATTENTION AND RESPONSE ARE CRITICAL FOR JUSTICE TO BE SERVED ✊🏼🇵🇸✊🏼

English Script:
Daizy: Hi, everyone. I’m coming to you from the Hague. I decided to hop a plane to come to the Hague to go and get into the peace palace behind me where the hearing tomorrow between South Africa and Israel will begin. Tomorrow we will hear the case made by the South African panel of judges, lawyers, advocates, who are going to present the case for Genocide against Israel. And on Friday we will hear the defense from Israel. I wanted to be here. I wanted to be here to be able to tell you the truth. I wanted to be here to witness it myself, to witness the proceedings, to deliver to you what’s really going on. We can’t take any photographic equipment in there, but I will be taking notes, I’ll be having a voice recorder, if they’ll let me, but I’ll report back and I’ll be able to tell you what’s going on outside here. Apparently, I was just speaking to a BBC reporter who told me that tomorrow there’s going to be some protests from the Israelis who are going to be outside the peace palace trying to prevent, I don’t know, trying to obstruct whatever they’re going to do. That’s their point of view. That is their right. This is a democratic country. They have the right to defend and present their point of view. There are Palestinians here today already, just over there. You can see them in the background behind me. So, people are already gathering. We’re going to try and get here as early as possible. I’m going to try and go through those gates right behind me there, like at 07:00 a.m. I’m hoping because it’s on a first come, first serve basis. So, I want to be in the room where it happens. I want to hear what happens. I want to report what happens. I want to know what’s going on so I can tell you what’s going on. So, I ask you to turn on notifications and just follow me for the next couple of days so you can see what’s going on. I’m also going to be participating in the march. The march solidarity on the 13th in Amsterdam. That’s a global march. So, I call on everyone around the world to make sure you march wherever you are and whatever cities you’re in to march on that day and show solidarity for truth, for justice, for the Palestinians to be free to gain their justice. Okay, guys, thank you.
