Lebanon teeters on the edge of full blown war with Israel as cross-border strikes exacerbate.
This week former Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri, made a rare visit back to his homeland to commemorate the 19th anniversary of the assassination of his father, former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, who was killed in an horrfiic bombing in Beirut on Valentine’s Day in 2005.
Speaking in an interview on Alhadath TV, Hariri warned of the perilous situation for Lebanon if war breaks out and cautioned leaders in the region to work towards peace and end the decades of conflicts that have plagued the region.
