Do we have to convince the world that Palestinian mothers are like any other mothers in this world? Until when do we have to convince the world that Palestinian children are just like any other children in this world? Until when do we have to convince the world that Palestinian men don’t deserve to be dehumanized? they have not left an inch of Gaza. Jabaliya refugee camp, Khan Younis, Al Nasser hospital, Al Quds Hospital. And now Rafah, in which they have claimed it is a safe zone. There is no safety in Gaza. The greatest pride that I have is being Palestinian. I am from a people that do not surrender. I am from a people that do not bow down. I am from a people that resist from generation to the other. I am from a people that have freed this world but yet has not seen freedom.
