MALAYSIAN PM ATTACKS GERMAN CHANCELLOR ON UNWAVERING SUPPORT FOR ISRAEL
March 14, 2024The Malaysian Prime Minister, Anwar Ibrahim, lashed back at Western double standards yesterday during a joint press conference with the German Chancellor, Olaf Scolz!
“Where have we thrown away our humanity? Why this hypocrisy?” Ibrahim stated.
He urged people to “understand the fundamental root cause of the problem” that triggered the conflict.
“What I reject strongly is this narrative, this obsession, as if the entire problem begins and ends with the 7th of October,” he said.
There had been decades of “atrocities, plunder and dispossession of Palestinians”, he added.
His comments came after the Chancellor Scolz, unequivocally declared he supported Israel in its attacks against Gaza and mentioned NOTHING of restraint!!
“Germany has a special and good relationship with Israel. Israel can also rely on us. And along these lines, politics in Germany will continue to unfold.”
Interesting that the first country in the world to commit the worst genocide in history, is now supporting the country committing the 2nd worse genocide in history!!

And we have always made this clear in the last few days, weeks and months and it remains the same. Israel can also depend on this. Again, what I have already said. Germany has a special and good relationship with Israel. This is very important for us and that is why Israel can rely on us. We have a clear position on what is necessary now. This includes the release of hostages, this includes humanitarian aid, this includes the perspective of a two-state solution. And for us this is also important. Anwar Ibrahim: You can’t find a solution by being so one-sided in terms of looking onlt at one particular issue and erase 60 years of atrocities. The solution is not just releasing the hostages. What about the settlements? What about the behavior of the settlers now? It continues daily! What about the dispossession? their land, their rights, their dignity, their men, their women, their children? Are these of no concern? Where have we thrown our humanity? Why this hypocrisy? Why this selective and ambivalent attitude towards one race and one another? Is it because they are colored or they are different religion? But I of course cannot accept the fact that when you discuss issues we’re only confined to one particular incident and one victim. forgetting the thousands and thousands of thousands of victims from the Nakba of 1947-1948.
