Max: Hello, my name is Max. I’m 11 years old. My family’s Jewish. I go to school here in Pasadena. At my school, they teach us to be upstanders and I’ve really grasped that idea and worked for my whole 11 years to accomplish that. I shaved my head last week to raise money for research and to end childhood cancer. I walked in the Type one diabetes walk at the Rose Bowl yesterday to help kids who have diabetes. And I’m here today to stand up for the kids in Palestine who should not have to die in this genocide, or have their parents be killed or have to eat grass because there’s no food. I, as many other kids have believed in world peace maybe my entire life. This is going against what everything I’ve believed for. And I would like you to stand up to it. You are our council, and I want you to take action for your people. It’s wrong to kill children, and I’m here today to ask you to help make it stop. Thank you.
