IT’S A GENOCIDE BY THE WEST ENACTED BY ISRAEL
April 4, 2024Haim Bresheeth, an Israeli scholar and author, exposes the failure of the United Nations and the international system due to the domination by the United States and the West. It is basically DEFUNCT!
“There is no international community anymore…this is a breakdown in international law that we are all going to pay for…It’s basically a genocide made by the West and enacted by Israel,” Professor Bresheeth states.
The United Nations has failed to intervene successfully in obstructing Israel in its genocidal campaign against Gaza. Despite having the authority to impose economic sanctions and even military intervention, the UN has been held back by prevailing Western interests, primarily the USA, driving the body away from any criticism of Israel or accountability.
WHAT IS THE POINT OF IT THEN?
The system MUST be reformed.

ويقول البروفيسور بريشيث: “لا يوجد مجتمع دولي بعد الآن…وهذا انهيار في القانون الدولي سندفع ثمنه جميعًا…إنها في الأساس إبادة جماعية ارتكبها الغرب وسنّتها إسرائيل”.
وقد فشلت الأمم المتحدة في التدخل لتوقف حملة الإبادة الجماعية التي ترتكبها إسرائيل والتي تشنّها ضد غزة. وعلى الرغم من امتلاكها سلطة فرض العقوبات الاقتصادية وحتى التدخل العسكري تحت الفصل السابع من ميثاقها، فقد أُعيق عمل الأمم المتحدة بسبب المصالح الغربية السائدة، وفي المقام الأول الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، مما دفع المنظمة بعيدًا عن انتقاد لإسرائيل أو مساءلتها.
ما هو المغزى من الأمم المتحدة إذًا؟ يجب إصلاح النظام.

Haim Bresheeth: I do not think there is an international community at the moment. The UN is not allowed to act because of the United States and the West. And this is a breakdown of international law that we all are going to pay for in decades to come. It’s basically a genocide made by the West and enacted by Israel. They are safe in the knowledge that they are immune. There’s no danger of sanctions if anything at the moment. There is a great decline of the international community. There is a great decline of the West. There is a great, great decline of the U.N. as the organization that should actually guarantee peace and security across the world. My understanding of what happens now is that it’s the West against the rest. It’s the West against the South and everybody else.
