PALESTINIANS CELEBRATE HISTORIC MOMENT AS ISRAFLI ENVOY FUMES
April 9, 2024Ambassador Riyad Mansour, Permanent Observer of the State of Palestine to the United Nations, standing with the representative of Malta, Ambassador Vanessa Frazier, today celebrated the decisiion by the United Nations Security Council to ask its membership committee to review the Palestinian Authority’s application to be made a full member state of the United Nations.
The PA is currently a non-member observer state like the Vatican.
After the annoucement, Ambassador Mansour, advised the media, “This is an historic moment again, when our President, President Abbas in 2011 did submit our application for submit our application for admission…it was an historic moment then and now that historic moment has been revived again and we sincerely hope…that the Security Council will elevate itself to implementing the global consensus on the two-state solution by admitting the state of Palestine for full membership.”
Ambassador Mansour was asked to respond to the statement by Israeli envoy Gilad Erdan who was fuming at the Council’s decision to open discussions on admitting Palestine to full member status, describing Palestine as a Palestinian-Nazi state.
Mansour discarded Erdan’s reprehensible comment by not dignifying it with a response.
Funny how those perpetrating crimes that mimick those committed by the Nazis and even more horrendous than the Third Reich are describing the victims of those atrocities as Nazis. This is typical gaslighting by trained psychopaths. Look it up.

Riyad Mansour: We just finished a meeting, open meeting of the Security Council in which the council unanimously, deferred the discussion on the application of the State of Palestine for admission to the standing committee, the committee on admission. Riyad Mansour: I will not dignify him by responding to him. I accept the judgment of the General Assembly. I accept the judgment of the 140 states who do recognize the State of Palestine. And we will see what happened in the Security Council.
