April 16, 2024“I want to hit him back the same way he hit me,” young Nemr Al-Saadi Al-Nemr cried expressing his anger at the Israeli soldier who brutally assaulted him and shot him, leaving him maimed and crippled for life.
Then Nemr burst into tears out of frustration and desperation and cried: “I am a child. What is my fault…What do I have to do with all this?”
Indeed he is only a child, and one of more than at least 25,000 that have been maimed or orphaned by the Israeli attacks on Gaza. Children who had nothing to do with this conflict. Innocent children who have had their lives completely destroyed by an occupying army and political leadership that shows NO MERCY even to the innocent.
