Bicker calls out Blinken on America’s hypocritical policy demanding China stop selling military components to Russia, while America continues to sell and supply Israel with bombs, machinery, technology, and all scale of armour to continue its genocide against the Palestinians.
“You asked China to stop exporting parts and components, but you provided weapons to Israel. It erodes the credibility of America not just here but around the world,” Bicker says.

Laura Bicker: You’ve rejected China’s call that Palestine be accepted as a full member state of the United Nations. Isn’t it time that the U.S. started listening to other countries ideas in the Middle East?
Antony Blinken: Well, first, there’s a long history here that we don’t have time to get into. Many offers that were put on the table, including by American administrations.
Laura Bicker: But we are in an unprecedented crisis now. Isn’t it time for the United States to listen to other ideas now?
Antony Blinken: Well, what we’re doing is not taking actions that would be would produce no results.
Laura Bicker: The problem is we’ve now got a catastrophic loss of life in Gaza. And you’re sitting here in China where they are managing to paint the United States as hypocrites. You’re asking China to stop supplying components not weapons, components, to Ukraine while you’re supplying weapons to Israel. So it erodes the credibility of the United States, not just here in China, but around the world. Dob’t you think?
Antony Blinken: When it comes to Israel, we’ve also been very clear that we want to make sure that Israel has the capacity to defend itself.
