UNBELIEVABLE! U.S. STILL ARMING 5 IDF UNITS OF IT ACCUSED GROSS VIOLATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS
April 30, 2024The U.S. found five units of the Israel Defense Forces responsible “for individual incidents of gross violations of human rights,” the State Department announced yesterday, HOWEVER, FUNDING to THESE UNITS CONTINUES!
At a press briefing, State Department principal deputy spokesman Vedant Patel told reporters that the human rights violations happened all before Oct. 7 and none happened in Gaza. Four of the units have “effectively remediated,” he said, while the U.S. continues “in consultations and engagements with the government of Israel” on the remaining unit.
In the meantime, these units, whether they have remediated or not, HAVE FACED NO DISCIPLINARY ACTION or JUDICIAL TRIAL for their GROSS VIOLATIONS OF HUMAN RIGHTS!
So basically, America is saying if you commit acts of this nature we will wrap you over the knuckles and if you are a good boy or girl, you can go back to WORK AS NORMAL without consequence.
This is RIDICULOUS!
WHAT A FARCE AMERICA HAS BECOME!
They create laws which they don’t even in force except against their enemies or those that do not agree with their viewpoint or are willing to tow the line.
THE WHOLE SYSTEM IS ROTTEN!

English Script:
Vedant Patel: After a careful process, we found five Israeli units responsible for individual incidents of gross violations of human rights. All of these were incidents much before October 7th, and none took place in Gaza. Four of these units have effectively remediated these violations, which is what we expect partners to do.
Reporter: Just to clarify where we are, because this is a bit complicated, the U.S. government has concluded that five different Israeli units committed gross human rights violations, but as of now, all of those units can still continue to receive U.S. arms, weapons, ammunition.
Vedant Patel: Well, in the four of those instances, as I just said, we have seen remediation of those violations. And that is, of course, what we expect of partners. Beyond that as it relates to this fifth unit, that is a process that is still ongoing.
Reporter: But as of now, even the fifth unit where you’re unsure whether there has been remediation, they are still eligible to receive U.S. arms.
Vedant Patel: That is the interpretation of the law.
