EUROVISION IS “OUTRAGEOUS” FOR ALLOWING ISRAEL TO COMPETE WHILE COMMITTING GENOCIDE
May 11, 2024Thousands of pro-Palestinian protesters flooded the streets of Malmo, Sweden, where the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 is being held, in protest of Israel’s participation in the contest due to the country’s atrocities in Gaza. Amongst them, Swedish Environmental Activist, Greta Thunberg who criticised Eurovision for allowing Israel to participate.
“When a country behaves in a way that is unacceptable, then Eurovision excludes them. So why not Israel?!
The Palestinian cause is one of JUSTICE. It is a cause that we must ALL unite for!!

Gretta Thunberg: We’re here to show that we think it is outrageous and inexcusable for Eurovision to let Israel participate while committing a genocide. Yes, it’s a song contest where Israel, a country that is currently committing a genocide in Gaza, are allowed to compete. Yeah, that is a very clear example that does say that when a country accepts in the way that, when a country behaves in a way that is unacceptable, then Eurovision excludes them. So why not Israel?
