May 23, 2024
Israel’s far-right Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir said that he wants to move to Gaza after the war ends and once the enclave has been resettled by Israel.
Speaking to Israeli TV, Ben Gvir said that Israel would have full control of the Gaza Strip after the fighting had ended and that it would be re-populated with Jewish settlements throughout the territory.
He added that they would encourage “voluntary migration” of the Palestinian residents of the enclave.
TELL ME AGAIN THIS IS NOT AN OCCUPATION! TELL ME AGAIN THIS IS NOT A GENOCIDE!! He EXPLICITLY voiced his intention to SWAMP Gaza with Israelis and LESSEN the Palestinian population!!

English Script:
Itamar Ben-Gvir: I would go into Rafah all the way and conduct a war until the end.
Israeli journalist: What does Ben-Gvir, the member of the War Cabinet, do about the issue of the day after Gaza? Who controls the strip?
Itamar Ben-Gvir: Israel, unequivocally, only the State of Israel, and no one else. Occupy Gaza completely, everything…
Israeli journalist: Israeli control? Jewish settlement?
Itamar Ben-Gvir: Full Israeli control, with Jewish settlements. But that’s not enough. One more step, that is the most important step.
Israeli journalist: Migration?
Itamar Ben-Gvir: Voluntary encouragement of migration and by the way, I am not saying everyone…
Israeli journalist: By the way elaborate the Jewish settlements of the Gaza Strip, do we go back to the settlements that we evacuated during the “disengagement”?
Itamar Ben-Gvir: Not only, not only you have a lot more to bring in if the emigration happens, and hundreds of thousands (of palestinians) leave, you’ll be able to bring more and more and more people in.
Israeli journalist: And you will be the first one to go and live there? To encourage “Jews living” inside of the Gaza Strip?
Itamar Ben-Gvir: I will be very happy to live in Gaza.
Israeli journalist: Yes? Would you do that if there was an opportunity?
Itamar Ben-Gvir: Yes, why not?
