CHARRED BODIES & BABIES WITHOUT HEADS WHY ARE YOU SURPRISED WHEN YOU HAVE SAT IDLY BY?
May 29, 2024Beheaded babies.
People burned alive.
Innocent civilians massacred.
But why are we surprised? Did the Gazans not warn us of what was happening for the last 8 months? Did Israeli officials not leave enough hints of their intent to commit genocide?
Shame. Shame on all those who have sat idly by. Shame on those who have prioritised their jobs, fame and careers over opposing genocide.
Everyone silent has taken part in this. Speak up now for Rafah, for Gaza!
A brilliant, poetic piece by media figure and influencer, Kamal Saleh

English Script:
Kamal Saleh: Why are you so surprised? For eight months you sat idly, watching them die. Haughtily refusing to call it a genocide.
Joe Biden: It’s not a genocide.
Kamal Saleh: You promoted their propaganda, you peddled their lies.
Piers Morgan: Beheaded babies.
Kamal Saleh: Made excuses for their actions. Defended their crimes.
Piers Morgan: Moral quandaries.
Kamal Saleh: You called us anti-Semitic. That we were filled with hate. A pathetic attempt to deflect all of our cries away when all we were saying was nowhere in Gaza was safe. You rebuked us for our chants, censored the oppressed, as though our slogans were more condemnable than our actual deaths. We begged you to speak up to stop the tanks and their jets. Yet you watched it all unfold and remained silent instead. So please don’t act like you are surprised about charred bodies and babies without heads. History will record where you stood and the words that you said. The world will always remember. And I assure you, Gaza will never forget.
