ISRAELI MINISTER THREATENS TO ANNIHILATE PALESTINIANS IN WEST BANK
May 31, 2024Bezalel Smotrich, Israel’s Finance Minister, filmed a DIRECT THREAT OF ANNIHILATION to Palestinians in the West Bank.
“We will turn you into ruined towns as we are doing now in the Gaza Strip”
For reference, the Genocide Convention, which was codified IN RESPONSE TO THE HOLOCAUST, stipulated 2 elements to genocide.
The first is a mental element, the ‘INTENT’ to destroy a racial, ethnic, religious or national group.
The second element is physical, which involves killing members of a group, preventing births etc.
The first part has historically made applying the definition of genocide difficult as ‘intention is difficult to establish’.
In the case of Israel, they have made it extremely easy!! Statements like these highlight the intent behind Israel’s GENOCIDE in Gaza. It’s NOT about Hamas, it never has been! It’s about the COMPLETE DESTRUCTION of PALESTINIANS at large!
