ISRAEL HAS NEVER PUT FORWARD PEACE PROPOSAL!
June 9, 2024The former US Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Chas W. Freeman Jr., EXPOSES Israel’s failure to historically propose a peace plan and its constant efforts to jeopardise efforts to reach a two-state solution. He goes on to describe the prior efforts of Israel to threaten peace talks with the Palestinian Liberation Organisation (PLO).
“Everything that has been said about Hamas has been said about Yasser Arafat. (Such as) The PLO are terrorists, you can’t talk to them… We talked to Yasser Arafat, we made peace with him.”
Freeman goes on to describe how the US installed a regime in the West Bank that THEY FUND to keep the status quo. He describes the current president, Mahmoud Abbas, as an extension of US and Israeli interests put there to serve them.
“He’s the prisoner trustee who has been co-opted to help run the prison. We pay him to do that.”
The common statement of ‘there’s no partner for peace’ is true. It’s true of the Israelis. They have never and will never be a partner for peace.

Chas Freeman: First of all, Hamas has not rejected the two-state solution. This is nonsense. It actually has accepted that there would be, it could be a two-state solution for a prolonged period, indefinite. And we all know, from watching the Israelis, that prolonged periods that are indefinite, have a way of becoming permanent. So, you know, if Israel were willing to talk to the Palestinians rather than to talk to Mahmoud Abbas, who runs the, who’s basically the capo in the West Bank, he’s the prisoner who’s trustee, who’s been co-opted to help run the prison. We pay him to do that. And he, you know, he’s now in the 19th year of his 44 year term or something, I don’t know. He’s there because he wouldn’t accept the election in 2006 because Hamas won it. And that’s why he’s there. So you want to talk to him? He can’t even travel in his own area without a huge armed escort. So you want to make peace? You make peace with your enemies, you don’t make peace with yourself or your allies or your friends. And, you know, I remember, you were a little child at that time, I think, but I remember when everything that has been said about Hamas was said about Yasser Arafat and the PLO terrorists. You can’t talk to them, you give them an inch, they’ll take a mile. What happened? They talked to Yasser Arafat, he accepted the existence of an Israeli state, he made peace with it, he went back to Palestine, he became a colluder in Israeli control of the West Bank in effect. This business of negotiations are impossible, because there’s nobody left I haven’t killed who’s worth talking to or negotiations are impossible because the other side, you know, just want to agree with us. This is just, this is almost ludicrous. If so many people were dying as a result of Israelis as well as Palestinians
