Israel and Hezbollah have DRASTICALLY escalated attacks on each other recently.
Israel, under the pretext of UNSC resolution 1701, claims it has a RIGHT to invade Lebanon.
However, Israel has constantly breached this resolution through violating Lebanese airspace and striking inside Lebanon’s territory, EVEN BEFORE OCTOBER 7!
They have released statements since their invasion of Gaza claiming ‘we will make Lebanon like Gaza’.

United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701 was passed on 11 August 2006 to end the 2nd Israel-Lebanon war.
This resolution stipulated the following:
(1) The full cessation of hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah;
(2) The deployment of Lebanese army forces to Southern Lebanon;
(3) Parallel withdrawal of Israeli forces back into Israel and behind the Blue Line;
(4) Strengthening the UN force (UNIFIL) to facilitate the entry of Lebanese Forces in the region, and
(5) The establishment of a demilitarised zone between the Blue Line and the Litani River which would force Hezbollah back behind the Litani River.
