BREAKING NEWS ISRAEL STRIKES RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBOURHOOD IN NABATIEH SOUTH LEBANON
June 27, 2024The Israeli air force targeted a small building — two or three stories high, according to witnesses — in the western part of the town of Nabatieh.
At least two missiles were fired, injuring at least seven people, and at least 14 others hospitalized for smoke inhalation from the explosions, which shook buildings in the vicinity and were even heard in surrounding localities, according to the testimonies of security sources, residents, and rescue workers gathered by our correspondent in the region.
Additionally, Israeli artillery strikes on Kfar Kila (Marjayoun district) desecrated a town cemetery where Hezbollah members are buried, according to local residents.
Israeli fire targeted several areas in southern Lebanon once again and reduced several homes to rubble while neighboring residents told L’Orient Today that their walls were shaking from its intensity. Hezbollah, for its part, announced several cross-border strikes, claiming to have caused casualties in the Israeli army.
