The US has witnessed a surge of protests in solidarity with Palestine following Israel’s brutal genocide in Gaza. American students set up Gaza solidarity encampments across US campuses, prompting a ripple effect beyond the US.
However, their calls for the end to the Israeli occupation, the halt of US complicity in the genocide, and recognized decades-long false narratives, were met by violent police crackdowns.
In response, Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs sanctioned 11 Americans for their complicity in the violation of human rights.
