A GAZA CEASEFIRE WILL NOT INCLUDE LEBANON
July 8, 2024The Israeli war minister says the army will continue to battle Hezbollah in Lebanon even if his country reaches a ceasefire deal with Hamas and allied groups in Gaza.
He wrote on X: “My orders in the south and the north are clear: Even if we settle in the south, we will continue to fight in the north until we bring Hezbollah to a settlement and restore the [Israel’s] residents with security.”
This is the most moral army. A force of genocide in the region that will NOT stop at Gaza. It will continue its colonial expansion in the region unless forcefully stopped.

Yoav Gallant: I gave a clear directive to the forces stationed in the south and in the north – these are two separate arenas. Even if we reach agreement for a hostage deal, and I very much hope that we will be able to achieve it in the south – it does not bind us on what happens here, unless Hezbollah reaches a framework or agreement. Even if there is a ceasefire there (in the south), here (in the north) we will continue fighting and doing everything necessary to bring about the desired result.
