Norman Finkelstein, in a 2008 interview, declares his support for the resistance against Israel, claiming it has the right to oppose the occupation despite its domestic politics.

“I have no problem saying that I do want to express solidarity with them.”

He goes on to highlight the naivety of thinking Israel will NOT revenge Lebanon over the previous wars with Hezbollah, predicting a future Israeli-Hezbollah war.
