SINGLE, WHITE AMERICAN FEMALE HOLIDAYING IN LEBANON “I’VE NEVER FELT SO SAFE”
July 22, 2024Much like many other countries, Lebanon has suffered from a major IMAGE issue since the civil war that starte din 1975 but ENDED in 1990. However, to much of the western world, Lebanon still is a land of war, bombings, terrorists, desert (not a grain of sand in the country except on our beaches), and many other misrepresentations.
WHY? Well we could spend hours discussing why. Why not instead watch this video from a young, white, American female, who is currently visiting the country and shares her take on the REAL LEBANON.
in her own words she says: “Lebanese people are the KINDEST people on the planet, I have so many more amazing stories to share and I have never fallen in love with a country so quickly. Thank you for everything ❤️🇱🇧”

American Girl: I’m in Lebanon and everyone’s told me about the Shawarma place, so let’s go see what it’s all about. I really didn’t know what to expect coming here cause like you see the news going on right now, it sounds scary as hell. But honestly, everyone here is so unbothered about it, they’re just living their lives to the fullest. I’ve never had such a great experience in a country, ever in my whole life. So safe walking around at night, even as a girl. In Jordan, I was constantly getting harassed everywhere I went. And I haven’t experience that once here, I’m literally wearing shorts right now. Obviously, there’s like the imminent threat of war which is genuinely terrifying, but if you’re talking about like actual day to day safety, so safe! I went to a gold store and I didn’t know what to get, this necklace says love in Arabic (Hubb I think). I think it’s been the true symbol of everything here. If you always talk about loving places that you travel to, this is a place I can genuinely say I feel loved back by so much kindness since I’ve been here.Every single Lebanese person that you meet asks you where you’re from, you say like the U.S., they just say you are welcome. I wasn’t really sure how I was gonna be treated here given that my country is funding weapons that are hitting their south right now I’ve been treated with nothing short of absolute kindness in every single interaction I’ve had so much more to a country than its politics, its government and like the news you’re constantly seeing. I can’t even put into words how much I love this country and that’s not even to mention the food. Alright time for the moment of truth looks so good. Okay gotta say tops Greek gyros. I think it might even top Turkish kebab, it’s a little small for the price, flavors were so so good, I would definitely get that again. Follow for more.
