Ofira Asayag: When there’s an announcement, when we hear reporters, political commentators, who say that Hamas went back on the deal, that Hamas doesn’t want the deal, can I understand from your smile that they are fooling us and lying to the public?
Ronen Bergman: There is an entire campaign that is run by all kinds of elements, some of them are of the Prime Minister’s circle, and some of them are in the security system, with different motives, that for many months now have been fooling us with lies.

Ronen Bergman: This statement, every time you heard it, was a lie. What does it mean that Hamas doesn’t want the deal? They want the deal, they just want it under Hamas’s terms. And by the way, the terms of Hamas didn’t change from the beginning. The one who kept changing the terms is…there was here just now, Boaz Bismuth (Likud MK). He was talking about the fact that now Israel is saying, we must have forces and checkpoints on the Netzarim Corridor in order to check.
