Joy Reid: You have a documentary or there’s a documentary that’s coming out, that Zeteo is a part of. Please tell me about it.
Mehdi Hasan: Yeah, it’s our first original film. It’s called “Israel’s Reel Extremism”, and it’s about how America and Israel are on different paths. Israel is heading very, very much to the far right. It’s an on the ground examination of what you’re showing right now, some of those viral TikTok videos that Israeli soldiers have been putting out since October the 7th from Gaza, and our production company, Basement Films, went out there, made this documentary, interviewed the soldiers Joy who make these films, and they don’t care. You see them on the tape talking about how they’re superior to Palestinians, how they, you know, how they have no problem with humiliating Palestinians. You see Israeli politicians defending their behavior. You see young Israeli settlers say, kill a million Palestinians. It’s an examination of how Israeli society has shifted way to the far right. And Americans all need to ask questions. Why are we funding?
