HEZBOLLAH COMPLETES PHASE 1 OF RETALIATION
August 27, 2024Hezbollah said on Sunday it had completed the “first phase” of its response to Israel’s killing of the group’s top commander in a strike on a Beirut suburb last month.
Hezbollah added that it had hit 11 Israeli military sites, fired more than 320 rockets and sent drones flying into northern Israel on Sunday.
On a separate note, the Israeli entity has BANNED coverage of any of its destroyed sites from Hezbollah’s attack.
The Telegraph, quoting sources, reported that the Benjamin Netanyahu regime issued a censorship decree, requiring reporters to obtain permission before publishing “damage caused by rocket attacks to strategic infrastructure or to military bases” to avoid “harm to Israeli forces on the ground.“

Reuters Reporter: Hezbollah launched hundreds of rockets and drones at Israel early on Sunday, as Israel’s military said it struck Lebanon with around 100 jets to thwart a bigger attack. The exchange is one of the biggest clashes in more than ten months of border warfare. Missiles could be seen in the dawn sky as an air raid siren sounded in Israel and a distant blast lit the horizon. Israeli strikes could also be seen raining down on southern Lebanese towns. The Iran backed Lebanese group Hezbollah said it had fired 320 Katyusha rockets towards Israel and hit 11 military targets. It added it was the first phase of its retaliation for Israel’s assassination of Fouad Shukr, a senior commander, last month.
