I am relaunching my podcast series, REEL TALK, where I talk to REAL PEOPLE about their REAL STORIES on a broad range of issues, topics, events…you name it, from my base in Beirut, Lebanon – allegedly one of the most dangerous cities in the world.
Granted right now the country is on the frontline in the fight for the freedom of the Palestinians and the impact is affecting the whole country, and it is also experiencing one of the worst economic crises any nation has witnessed. And I will discuss these issues and topics during interveiws I have with my guests, but there is so much more to Lebanon that the world doesnโt know and through this series I hope to open your minds to experience the full picture as I take you on a journey into the homes, heartland, and highlights to unearth the timeless secrets and stifling syndromes that keep this once jewel of the Middle East, paralysed whilst at the same time delightfully untamed and unashamed.
So, after pausing the series last year after the Israel-Gaza war started, so I could focus my full attention on the atrocities committed by the IDF against the Palestinians, I have now decided it is time to revive REEL TALK.
It will be available on YouTube but also wherever you get your podcasts.
So stay tuned for the relaunch this Thursday 5th September.
You will have access to all previous episodes and hope that if you enjoy the series you will share it with friends and family and support my independent and factual portrayal of issues both from Lebanon and around the world.

Daizy Gedeon: Hi everyone, I am excited to announce the relaunch of the video series I started in 2022, but which got put on the backburner last year after the Israel-Gaza war was launched. Well, it is time to revive REEL TALK, whose central theme is REAL PEOPLE with REAL STORIES which will be available on my YouTube channel in video format but also wherever you get your podcasts as an audio series. As many of you know, I am now based in Beirut now which is, apparently, one of the most dangerous cities in the world. Well, Iโve taken it upon myself to challenge this viewpoint by providing you with fascinating interviews that reveal the truth about this complex, once jewel of the Middle East, which remains delightfully untamed and unashamed so you TOO would realise that what you were told to believe about Lebanon and the reality are poles apart.
