Dr. Mohamed Moustafa: Thank you for having me.
News Breakfast presenter: Why did you decide to go and volunteer in Gaza?
Dr. Mohamed Moustafa: Well, I mean, you can see the images on your TV screens of the absolute horrors and atrocities that are going on in Gaza, and I felt compelled as a human being, to be honest, to go and help. I felt compelled as an Australian, I felt compelled as a Muslim, I felt compelled as a human being, to go over there and help, help those people in Gaza.
News Breakfast presenter: Describe the situation that confronted you at the hospitals, you worked in Gaza.
Dr. Mohamed Moustafa: You know, I have really struggled since coming back, to try and process the things that I saw. I remember my first day, it was in the morning, and I went into the emergency department, and it was chaotic.
