Daizy Gedeon: To your point now about peace, the roadmap to peace. Is there a possibility of peace? Look, Lebanon historically has always had before, unfortunately, the impact of the Arab-Israeli wars on Lebanon. It’s always wanted peace. It had an armistice agreement with Israel in 1949, which was a peaceful agreement of coexistence. But Israel has never acknowledged Lebanon’s boundaries. It’s never acknowledged our territory, and the same with Syria. Syria has never acknowledged Lebanon’s territory. So, there’s been this limbo and unease about that relationship. Lebanon as a nation is not a warring nation. It’s never declared war on anyone, anyone as a country. It’s, you know, its raison d’être is, it’s a love for life. If you look at our history, we have been conquered by more warring groups historically, thousands of years of warring groups trying to take over Lebanon. We have never, ever attacked any country. And we’ve always, unfortunately, fallen to foreign armies because we haven’t had a strong army and we’ve never taken it that seriously or focused on that because we’re seafaring, we’re merchants, we’re innovators, we’re creators, we’re lovers, we’re dynamic. You look at what Lebanese have created. It’s been a biblical land, where the bible was first written by Saint Peter and Paul in Byblos. You know, that is its raison d’être, not to fight. And we just want to go back there. That’s all Lebanese want to do. We just want to love life, live life and welcome people to Lebanon.
