The Vatican Stands with Palestine
December 15, 2024Pope Francis declared clearly which side of history he stands on when he unveiled a nativity scene in the Vatican’s Paul VI Hall revealing baby Jesus’s cradle draped in a traditional Palestinian Keffiyeh.
The bold statement by the head of the Catholic Church reasserts his view on the genocide being committed by Israel against the Palestinian people which he has frequently condemned, at one time calling it “immoral” and a “genocide”.
The nativity was created by Palestinian artists from Dar al-Kalima University in Bethlehem with other elements produced by local craftspeople according to age-old traditions.
God bless the Holy See and may all Christians around the world awaken to the evil that Israel is committing not only against the Palestinians, but against all of HUMANITY.
