2024: A Year of Triumphs and Challenges for Palestine
January 5, 2025Looking back at 2024 🌗 I was overwhelmed with sadness and emotionally distraught thinking about the suffering and injustice that continues in Palestine 🇵🇸 and the destruction and death that befell Lebanon 🇱🇧. It made me feel helpless and ineffective.
But as I drilled deeper and more thoroughly, I found chards of light that poked holes in the darkness of last year. Decisions, actions, annoucements, movements, the chorus of voices speaking out for Palestine and the truth, the world leaders who changed course and international institutions passing resolutions that demonstrated a huge, global shift away from Israel, away from the USA, away from Zionism and towards justice and truth.
So, I invite you to take a few minutes and watch this video to remind yourselves of the victories, triumphs and successes that we all helped manifest through our collective efforts.
As Martin Luther King Jnr once taught us: « » » »The arc of the moral universe is long, but bends towards justice. » » » » We must remain steadfast in this belief and justice will prevail.
God has not deserted the Palestinians nor humanity. God is always shining his light and guiding us towards the path of salvation.
May we focus and build on the achievements of 2025 that we may end the march of the evil that inhabits our world at this time and save Palestine and humanity.

Daizy: Every day for the past year, I’ve woken up to news of more killings, more bloodshed, more genocide. And today, on New Year’s Eve, I ask myself, was this all 2024 Was about? Will this year go down as one of the most shameful and tragic in human history? And will we carry this heaviness, this darkness, hopelessness into 2025? Was it all bad? And that’s when it hit me. What if this is all part of the enemy’s plot to defeat us psychologically? So, I’ve chosen to remember this year differently.
What if, instead of focusing on all of the horrors of 2024, we turned our gaze upon all the successes, the triumphs, the victories for justice against injustice, for humanity, against inhumanity, for Palestine, Lebanon, and all who stood and stand against Israel and the axis of evil? Wouldn’t that revive our hope and restore our fortitude and spirit to bend that arc of the moral universe towards justice? As Martin Luther King once taught us. Well, this New Year’s Eve, instead of wallowing in the misery and depression, I choose to look at those victories of 2024 and celebrate the decisions and actions that will ultimately end Zionist domination and permit Palestinian liberation. And here are 50 good reasons why we should remain hopeful.
