Leaked: Israel to split Gaza into 3 military-controlled zones
As part of Israel’s newly announced offensive, dubbed Gideon’s Chariots, a leaked map reveals “Stage Three: the complete takeover of Gaza”, which aims to force Gaza’s civilian population into three narrowly defined zones- strictly controlled by Israeli forces.
These areas would be tightly controlled and separated by four Israeli-occupied corridors. Movement between the zones would be restricted, and goods will be subject to stringent security checks.
These measures aim to drastically restrict Palestinians’ freedom of movement within Gaza and forcibly displace them. They closely mirror a plan announced by Israel last year to establish “humanitarian enclaves”—or “bubbles”—as part of a broader strategy to exert control over the Strip.
