EU Official: “Raising Money for Starving Gaza Children = Antisemitism” — Katharina von Schnurbein Under Fire | EUobserver
July 16, 2025
BAKE SALES FOR GAZA = ANTISEMITISM?
According to the EU’s Coordinator on Combating Antisemitism, yes.
Leaked documents reveal that Katharina von Schnurbein told EU ambassadors in Tel Aviv that fundraising efforts—like cupcake sales—for starving children in Gaza could be seen as “ambient antisemitism.”
She also dismissed calls for sanctions against Israel as based on “rumours about Jews,” directly contradicting UN, ICJ, and EU foreign service findings on Israel’s war crimes.
Meanwhile, Israel’s actions in Gaza have killed over 57,000 people.
Sharing food is now “hate”?
Humanitarianism is not antisemitism.
