Global Call for Peace with Women at the Decision Table
Today, the world speaks the language of war.
Decisions about peace and security are made behind closed doors — and too often, women are not there. Humanity is paying the price.
For 25 years, the UN Security Council’s Resolution 1325 has said women must be at the table in peace and security decisions. CEDAW’s General Recommendation 40 demands the same. But promises without action change nothing.
Women bring solutions rooted in empathy, strategy, and community — the foundations of sustainable peace. Yet, we remain less than 10% of negotiators in peace talks.
We say: Enough.
• We demand real seats for women at every table where the fate of nations is decided.
• We demand funding and protection for women peacebuilders and human rights defenders.
• We demand accountability, not just empty commitments.
Without women, there is no peace.
Humanity needs women’s leadership — not as tokens, but as equal decision-makers shaping our future.
