A group of Palestinian journalists walked through the streets of Gaza City, announcing that a ceasefire agreement had been reached amidst a widespread internet blackout.
US President Donald Trump announced late on Wednesday that Israel and the Palestinian movement Hamas had “both signed off” on the “first phase” of a plan to end the two-year genocidal war on Gaza.
Trump shared this announcement on his social media platform, Truth Social, stating that all Israeli captives will be released soon, and Israel will withdraw to the designated line as part of the first phase of the agreement.
