The Palestinian national football team played their first match in Europe in a generation, facing the Basque Country in a sold-out stadium in Bilbao, Spain.
Instead of walking out with children, players carried roses as a tribute to those killed in Israel’s ongoing assault.
Despite a 3–0 defeat, the match was widely seen as a victory for solidarity. All proceeds were donated to Doctors Without Borders, turning the game into a powerful statement of resistance, remembrance, and shared humanity.
