Israel Preparing New War on Lebanon With U.S. Support — What’s the Target?
November 28, 2025Israel just bombed the heart of Beirut days before the Pope lands. It has violated the Nov 2024 ceasefire 5,000+ times. Killed 331+ people including 114+ civilians confirmed dead by the UN.
This is calculated provocation. Israel wants Lebanon to react. They want war. They’re creating the pretext.
The Hezbollah “weapons caches” they claim to be bombing? Many witnesses said they found no evidence of weapons at many sites. The “secondary explosions” they claim are proof of Hezbollah weapons, are a new multi-warhead munitions technology designed to look like secondary explosions. It’s theater for international audiences.
As Lebanese we must:
✓ See through the propaganda
✓ Unite behind sovereignty—not sectarian divisions
✓ Refuse to be provoked into playing Israel’s game
✓ Demand accountability through international law
✓ Support territorial integrity without emotional reactions
Israel is baiting us. We must respond with strategic unity, not reactive violence that justifies their aggression.
I break down exactly what’s happening, the propaganda techniques being used, and what this means for Lebanon’s future in my full report. This is information every Lebanese needs right now.
We are at a critical historic crossroads.
Watch and share with every Lebanese you know. 🇱🇧

Daizy Gedeon: Hi everyone, this is an unexpected but important message that I felt compelled to share with you and I please ask you to watch to the end because there’s some very important information that I am going to be revealing that hasn’t been shared yet that you need to know so please hang in there with me. I have been impatiently observing the developments in Lebanon over the past month and the escalation in Israel’s activities. But last Sunday’s attack on Dahieh, the first attack on Beirut since June, combined with Pope Leo’s arrival this Sunday, has me very worried for Lebanon. Let me start with what’s happening right now. Israel assassinated Hezbollah’s chief of staff and killed four other people on Sunday in the middle of Beirut, the heart of Beirut in a densely populated civilian area, just days before the Pope lands in Beirut. This isn’t coincidence. It’s provocation. My concern is what we are hearing is that Israel is about to unleash another war of terror on Lebanon, not just contained to the South and Bekaa, but on densely populated areas around the country as well.
We need to see clearly through the propaganda and unite right now behind our country’s sovereignty. This is far from isolated. Since the ceasefire was supposed to have taken effect in November 2024, Israel has violated it over 5,000 times. Let me repeat it 5,000 times. At least 331 people have been killed since the ceasefire, and over a thousand injured. The UN has confirmed about 114 of them were civilians. Israel claims it’s targeting Hezbollah weapons. I want to address this lie directly. I’ve spoken to witnesses on the ground in the South, in the Bekaa, people went to many of these locations themselves, and they found nothing. No remnants of weapons or anything other than the bombs that destroyed the place. Those secondary explosions, that Israel is claiming is proof of weapons caches, that’s their new multi warhead munitions technology designed specifically to create the illusion of exploding weapons. They bomb once, then the subsequent warhead detonate to make it look like they hit an arms depot. It’s theater. It’s propaganda. It’s hasbara at its finest.
Pope is arriving in a couple of days, this weekend. This is his first visit, international trip as Pope, and he’s coming to a country that’s been battered by economic collapse, the port explosion, and now this renewed aggression by Israel. The timing is significant. Israel knows this visit represents hope for Lebanon, for the Lebanese people. It represents international attention and puts it on Lebanon. That’s precisely why they escalated just before his arrival. They’re trying to destabilize us and show the world that Lebanon isn’t safe. It’s a place where you can’t maintain peace, we’re unable of maintaining peace. But we know who the aggressor is. Let me address something else that’s very important. With the escalation and the Israeli bombings, it appears, as I said before, that they’re readying for war. But against whom? Here’s a fact that should make you pause. Hezbollah hasn’t fired a single bullet against Israel since the ceasefire in November 2024, not one. Hezbollah has held its fire. So, who is Israel trying to provoke? They’re agitating for a war again, trying to spur Hezbollah to retaliate. Or maybe they’re even trying to force the Lebanese army into action, and here’s something else that should deeply concern you. According to eyewitnesses, nearly every week for the past couple of months, U.S. military planes have been landing at Halat Airport, north of Beirut. Witnesses report they’re unloading weapons. For whom? For what? Think about it.
America has publicly stated it is reluctant to provide weapons to the Lebanese army, claiming the army is going to give it to Hezbollah, which is absurd. So, what are the Americans readying for? Is there a war coming that they plan to incite? Are they arming strategic militias to cause internal strife? America’s history of destabilizing nations within is public knowledge. They use local actors, opposition groups, they create chaos, and they mask the higher intentions of a regional plan. Where is this leading? I believe there is a bigger plan at play, and we are the pawns. And if we fall for the trap and start attacking one another, Christian against Muslim, army against Hezbollah, North against South, we’re playing straight into their hands. So, we need to wake up. We need to smell the roses. Now, let me talk about one other thing. Just two weeks ago, the United States canceled all scheduled meetings with the army commander, General Rodolphe Haykal. Not because he did anything wrong. Not because he did anything that should offend them. It was because he told the truth. On November the 16th, our Army issued a statement claiming and stating very clearly that Israel persists in violating Lebanon sovereignty and causing instability, and that Israel’s attack on a UNIFIL patrol was a dangerous escalation that demands immediate attention. That’s the truth. That’s what he said. That’s what’s happening. But apparently, Washington doesn’t want the truth to get out as it exposes blatantly the barbarity of Israel, its ally, even more than it already has been exposed. Even Senator Lindsey Graham called General Haykal weak and said that the Lebanese Armed Forces are not a very good investment for America, because Haykal referenced Israel as the enemy.
Think about that. Our army commander accurately and justly criticizes the country that’s bombing us, occupying our territory and killing our people, and Washington punishes him for it. They want us to disarm Hezbollah, while Israel continues to occupy five strategic positions in our land and conducts daily strikes. They’re trying to force our army into aggressive action against Hezbollah to provoke a civil war. This is the playbook people, divide and conquer. Some are now talking about peace negotiations with Israel. President Aoun has said Lebanon is ready to talk peace with Israel to end the strikes. Some are now even talking about peace negotiations with Israel. President Aoun has said Lebanon is ready to negotiate an end to Israeli strikes. But be clear about something. Negotiation from a position of continued occupation is not negotiation. It’s capitulation. Israel is not interested in peace, Israel is interested in annexation. And here’s something else I want to share with you that is really disturbing me. It’s coming from people and high-profile people in Lebanon and echoed by people in the diaspora. Some Lebanese claim that the problem with Lebanon was never Israel. It was always Iran, and it was always Hezbollah. But let me set the record straight with historical facts. Hezbollah was created in 1982. Israel invaded Lebanon in 1982. Hezbollah was created in a direct response to that invasion, not the other way around. Israel invaded, bombed and occupied our country.
The invasion killed tens of thousands of Lebanese. Israel laid siege to Beirut. Israel forced and enabled the Sabra and Shatila massacre, killing around 3500 Palestinians and Lebanese Shia civilians. They were slaughtered. Even former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak admitted when we entered Lebanon, there was no Hezbollah. We were accepted with perfumed rice and flowers by the Shia in the South. It was our presence there that created Hezbollah. Hezbollah didn’t create the conflict with Israel. Israel’s invasion and occupation created Hezbollah. Yes, we have grievances with the Palestinians. Yes, the PLO pulled us into conflicts we didn’t want. Yes, Arafat’s dream of making Lebanon a Palestinian homeland was a disaster for us. I understand that anger. I share that anger. But the PLO left Lebanon in 1982. 43 years ago, people. Israel is still here. Israel is still bombing us. Israel is still occupying our land. Israel is still killing our people. The problem was, is and remains Israel, and for those Lebanese who say Israel is better than Iran or it’s time to make peace with Israel, I ask you, are you watching what Israel is doing to our country right now? Do you condone the destruction of ancient buildings, monuments, religious areas, entire villages?
Do you condone the burning of 2000 year old olive groves? Do you want them to build a wall on Lebanese territory, just like they did in the West Bank? That cuts off Palestinian communities, forcing them through checkpoints to see their families, to buy food, to go to work? Because that’s what’s going to happen to us. We need to wake up and realize that Israel is conducting a systematic campaign to depopulate and annex South of Lebanon. Where do you think this ends if we allow them to take the South? Do you actually believe they’re doing this for security, to protect their northern border towns? Look at what they did to Palestine. In 1948, Palestinians controlled the majority of the land. Now they control less than 10%, less than 10%, and that’s shrinking every day. Despite endless talk of a two-state solution. This is Israel’s playbook. Take a little, consolidate, create a security justification, take more. They’ll take the South up to the Litani, then they’ll create another reason when they need to and move to Saida, then Beirut, then all of Lebanon. They’re coming for Lebanon. We have two options right now. Option one, stand together. Unite behind our leaders, our government and our army. Prevent Israel’s execution of the South. Fight for Lebanon sovereignty.
Accept that it will be difficult. That there will be sacrifices. But maintain our dignity, our independence and our freedom. Or option Two, be divided. Let Israel take the South. Let them continue to push north, lose our land, and then maybe in 100 years, a wiser and stronger generation will rise up and kick them out. After decades of occupation, humiliation and suffering, just like they did and are doing to the Palestinians. Your future is staring you in the face. Look at Palestine. We need to unite behind one Lebanon. We need to unite behind our country, our sovereignty and our right to exist. I, for one, want to defend my right to roam freely around my own country. I’m pissed off that for the last two years, I haven’t been able to go to the South to Tyre, Saida and the beautiful coastlines of Naqura, or the hinterland of Hasbaya in the South. Why? Because I’m scared. I’m totally scared of being picked off by an Israeli drone. Israeli settlers are moving into the South, and we are here arguing with each other. We need to stop arguing with one another and see what they’re doing.
They’re creeping into our country. Stop arguing. Stop looking the other way. So, I’ll end with this last question, and I want you to think about it seriously. Where do you stand? Are you willing to hand over Lebanon, your home land, your ancestors land, the land of your children to the Zionists? Or do you stand with the government and the people in defending our sovereignty? We’re living through a defining moment in Lebanese history. What we do now will determine whether Lebanon survives as an independent nation or becomes another footnote in Israel’s expansion. I’m standing with Lebanon. The question is where do you stand? Thank you for listening. Please share this message with as many Lebanese people as you know. We don’t have the luxury of remaining silent anymore. Lebanon must survive and it will survive if we stand together. Thank you.
