Al Jazeera: Lebanon Files U.N. Complaint After Recording 2,036 Israeli Ceasefire Violations in 3 Months

After months of near-daily attacks, Lebanon has filed an official complaint with the United Nations, accusing Israel of repeated ceasefire violations.
The complaint cites 2,036 violations in just three months:
▪️ October 2025: 542
▪️ November 2025: 691
▪️ December 2025: 803
A clear breach of UN Security Council Resolution 1701.
A clear violation of Lebanese sovereignty.
The filing came one day after new Israeli airstrikes across Lebanon killed at least two people, despite a 2024 ceasefire that was supposed to stop this.
Resolutions without consequences are paper.
