English Script:
Activist: Bro. You just killed a bunch of women and children, bro.
Israeli soldier: Yeah, yeah. We’re not just killing, we’re raping also.
Al Jazeera Reporter: The first live stream genocide in history is not over. Israeli soldiers and fans are still bragging about abusing Palestinians despite all the international exposure and condemnation. The latest evidence to have emerged is this exchange between a US live streamer and an Israeli soldier. Watch this.
Activist: Bro, you just killed a bunch of women and children, bro.
Israeli soldier: Yeah, yeah. We’re not just killing. We’re raping also. These are the children.
Activist: Those are the children there?
Israeli soldier: You want to see Gaza?
Activist: Yeah, show me.
Israeli soldier: Don’t be surprised. There are no houses here.
Activist: Let me see. Yeah. I want to see what it looks like.
Israeli soldier: Flat, all flat.
Activist: You guys flattened it?
Israeli soldier: Oh, yeah.
Activist: You guys killed a bunch of kids bro.
Al Jazeera Reporter: This clip is just one of thousands of Israeli soldiers incriminating themselves on social media. Last year, Al Jazeera’s Investigative unit conducted a forensic analysis of countless videos shared by Israeli soldiers boasting about crimes they committed. The I-unit has identified many of them. These videos don’t show a professional army, but an institutional lack of discipline. This database identifies soldiers involved in clear violations of international law, including torture, the arbitrary killing of unarmed civilians, and the destruction of civilian infrastructure. This evidence is now being examined by prosecutors at the International Court of Justice and International Criminal Court. As a result, the Israeli military has restricted social media use for its soldiers and fought to protect them from arrest abroad. The scrutiny is putting pressure on other countries as it comes to light that over 50,000 dual nationals fought with the Israeli army in the Gaza. 12,000 of whom are U.S. citizens and 30,000 are European. This means foreign governments will have to decide whether to persecute their own citizens for war crimes and genocide.
