Heavy Israeli Strikes Hit Central Beirut Residential Buildings Without Warning
March 13, 2026
Layla is exposing the “Zionist power construct’s” strategy: strike the areas where displaced people are hiding to sow terror and division.
Families who fled the Dahiyeh “death zones” thought they were safe here. Instead, they were woken up by U.S.-made missiles tearing through the 7th and 8th floors of their apartment building.
THE SILENCE OF THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY IS THE GREEN LIGHT FOR THE NEXT MISSILE.
Expose the truth. Share their crimes.

Layla Makdissi: An Israeli strike hit an apartment of a residential building in central Beirut at around 5 a.m. this morning without warning. Making this the third strike in a week, outside Beirut’s southern suburbs, Israel’s usual target. I am standing here in Aicha Bakkar, the building that was hit is literally right above me, right there. The strike targeted an apartment on the seventh floor, but the blast caused extensive damage to floors above and below, as well as to the buildings facing it. Although four missiles were fired at the building, only three actually exploded, leaving one unexploded missile in this man’s apartment. Reports about the intended target are still unclear. A local outlet said a Hamas member was targeted, while Israeli media reported that the strike was aimed at an office linked to the Islamic Group, which denied having a presence in the building. This is a very residential part of Beirut and also very diverse. I mean, here you see flags of both a major Shia political parties Amal and Hezbollah. And over there you see pictures of Saad Hariri, former prime minister and a major Sunni leader. Although the damage was extensive, no deaths were reported, and Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health said four people were injured.
