Foreign Press Association Launches “Let Us In” Campaign Over Israel’s Gaza Media Access Ban
February 28, 2026
For over two years, Israel has enforced an unprecedented media blackout, locking out international journalists while the world watches a genocide through a keyhole.
The Foreign Press Association is calling out the “”stalling tactics”” and “”secret security arguments”” used to hide the reality of the war. They aren’t just blocking reporters—they are blocking the truth
It’s time to end the “”unprecedented”” suppression of the free press. We demand the right to be informed. We demand the right to see the reality without a military escort.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

English Script:
Journalists: We’ve been locked out, banned, denied, restricted.
Jeremy Diamond: For more than two years, the Israeli government has refused to allow journalists into Gaza to report independently.
Sophie von der Tann: To show the world the reality of war.
Jeremy Bowen: And this fragile ceasefire from every angle.
Ayman Mohyeldin: It is long past time for Israel to lift this ban and let us in.
Alex Crawford: Our Palestinian colleagues in Gaza have been reporting for more than two years under impossible conditions.
Clarissa Ward: But they shouldn’t have to bear that burden alone.
Hind Khoudary: More than 200 Palestinian journalists have been killed in Gaza. Many more have been displaced. Some have been detained. We need more journalists in Gaza.
Tania Kraemer: The Foreign Press Association petitioned Israel’s Supreme Court to overrule the government’s ban. The government responded with excuses, stalling tactics and classified security arguments.
Joe Federman: Enough is enough.
Journalists: You, me, us. We should all fight for our right to be informed, for the rights of a free and independent press. So join us in calling on the United States and leaders around the world to demand Israel let journalists into Gaza. This is unprecedented, and it must end. Let us in.
