Overnight, Israeli airstrikes targeted the Zqaq el-Blat and Basta neighborhoods—areas packed not with military assets, but with thousands of displaced families who fled the death zones in the south.
There were zero evacuation orders. No knock on the roof. Just the sound of U.S.-made missiles leveling residential apartment buildings in the middle of the night. These are some of the most densely populated quarters in Lebanon, located just minutes away from government offices and international embassies.
