“Bury Me Next to My Son”: Mother’s Grief After Strikes Hit Villages in South Lebanon
March 20, 2026
Suad Jallad, a mother from the predominantly Christian village of Ain Ebel, is refusing to join the 800,000 displaced. Her son, 22-year-old Shadi Ammar, was killed by an Israeli drone strike last week while simply trying to repair an internet connection on a roof.
Suad’s message to the world is raw and unforgiving: Bury me next to my son. I will not leave.
THEY ASKED WHY THEIR CHILDREN HAD TO DIE. THE ONLY ANSWER THEY GOT WAS ANOTHER STRIKE 💔💔
