The deal, signed in late 2025, is framed as a massive free grant to train 50,000 Lebanese citizens in AI, cloud computing, and cybersecurity over the next five years. While critics scream about data sovereignty and foreign influence, Shehadeh insists that the focus is strictly on human talent, not government systems.
The goal is to prepare 50,000 students and professionals for the global tech race. If Lebanon wants to survive the future, its people need to speak the language of AI.
