Smotrich Sparks Outrage: ‘My Son Will Have Places Left to Destroy in Lebanon’ After Injury
May 6, 2026
Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich just said the quiet part out loud, and it’s absolutely sickening. During an interview he joked about a conversation with his son, an IDF soldier, who told him not to flatten all of Lebanon yet because he wants to have something left to destroy when he gets back to the front.
Smotrich is literally raising the next generation to see the erasure of an entire country as a hobby. He’s treating the leveling of Lebanese towns like a family project.
While thousands are being slaughtered and millions are running for their lives, the man in charge of the money is laughing about his son wanting a turn at the trigger. This is the “most moral army”in action. SICK AND DISGUSTING.
SHAME ON THE CRUELTY. JUSTICE FOR LEBANON. 🇱🇧

Interviewer: Thank you very much for coming so let’s start maybe what’s most important. Your son was injured in Lebanon.
Bezalel Smotrich: Yes Baruch, he’s now in rehabilitation. Desar is improving at a very fast pace. We hope that within two weeks an order of magnitude, he will be released, he will be transferred to the hospital later one day. It will take a few months but he is supposed to, we put everything in the hands of God, and with his help he will return to us. He keeps asking me not to finish the work and leave him more to do. And with this I tell him don’t worry, there will be enough for everyone. He will come back with the help of God to fight.
Interviewer: There is a lot of complete recovery
