Australian Activists Protest in Parliament Supporting Palestinian Prisoners and Calling for Sanctions on Israel

More than 60 activists occupied Australia’s Parliament in solidarity with Palestinian prisoners recreating the stress positions and zip-tied restraint methods seen in footage released from Israeli detention facilities.
The protest came after flotilla activists and humanitarian volunteers reported alleged abuse, assault and degrading treatment while detained by Israeli forces.
Yet despite the growing outrage, Australia still calls Israel a “friend.”
How many more videos, testimonies and atrocities will the world ignore before real action is taken?
