The sight of police officers heckling this vulnerable citizen is grave, disturbing and should not be accepted as the new norm.
No badge grants the right to demean, threaten, or terrorize. Every act of intimidation chips away at public trust and raises serious questions about the culture of policing and the treatment of citizens who dare to speak out.
