Pro-Palestine Activists Confront Polish Foreign Minister Over War in Gaza During Krakow Book Event
June 6, 2026Radosław Sikorski, Poland’s Foreign Minister, was confronted by pro-Palestine activists during a public event in Krakow as growing anger over Gaza followed him into the room.
“Poland cannot cooperate with perpetrators of genocide,” protesters shouted before security moved in to remove them.
The message was direct.
As Gaza continues to face devastation, displacement and relentless attacks, more people across Europe are demanding that their governments stop treating business as usual with Israel.
For the activists, this was not a disruption.
From university campuses to parliaments, from city streets to public events, the movement demanding accountability is getting louder.
And increasingly, elected officials are finding that they cannot escape the questions being asked.
How many more civilians must die?
How much more destruction must occur?
And how long can governments continue claiming neutrality while continuing cooperation?
