A 14-year CIA veteran just said the quiet part out loud.
John Kiriakou — the man who went to prison for telling America the truth about torture — said 10,000 JFK files will never be released. Not “redacted.” Never released. Why? Because, in Kiriakou’s words, ”every single one of them points directly at Israel.”
The alleged motive? Kennedy was trying to stop Israel from getting nuclear weapons. And according to this account, that’s the line he didn’t get to cross.
For 60 years, “national security” has been the answer to every question about this file. And because a country doesn’t get to write its own history if the documents never see daylight.
This should alarm anyone who believes in declassification, in congressional law actually being followed, in the public’s right to its own history.
