SEAFARERS RELEASE BABY SEA TURTLE FROM FISHING NET
July 4, 2026
THIS IS THE KINDNESS AND HUMANITY WE ARE TRYING TO PRESERVE.
The most dangerous fishing net in our oceans is the one nobody sees. Ghost nets, fishing gear, lines, and traps that are lost or completely abandoned at sea, never stop killing. Long after the fishermen are gone, these durable plastic traps continue to ensnare and kill sea turtles, dolphins, whales, sharks, and marine birds for years, sometimes even decades.
They don’t just trap marine life; they actively crush coral reefs and break down into toxic microplastics that poison the entire food chain, including us.
Protecting our oceans isn’t just about saving wildlife; it’s about preserving our own humanity and taking responsibility for the planet.
True progress means investing in sustainable fishing technology, strict gear tracking, and global cleanup efforts. The ocean gives us life; the least we can do is protect it from our own waste.
Let’s protect the life that keeps our planet alive.
